Seafood-Cabbage Salad Recipe
Ingredients:
Salad Ingredients:
2.5 c of cabbage (green); shredded
1 c of red cabbage; shredded
1 pc of green bell pepper; sliced thinly
1 pc of red bell pepper; cut into thin strips
1 lb of crabmeat (imitation); sliced thinly
1 medium-sized head of broccoli (fresh); broken up into florets
Dressing Ingredients:
3/4 c of mayonnaise (light)
1/4 c of lemon juice
3 Tbsps of white wine vinegar
2 Tbsps of white sugar
1 garlic clove; minced
1/2 tsp of salt
1.5 tsps of sauce (Worcestershire)
1/2 tsp of black pepper; ground
1/2 tsp of pepper sauce (hot)
Directions:
Combine all dressing ingredients in one mixing bowl; and whisk ’til smooth. Set it aside.
Meanwhile, pitch the salad ingredients altogether in a separate larger bowl. Pour some dressing over it; and toss well to evenly coat ingredients.
Cover with cling film and chill for a minimum of one hour prior to serving.
