Mandarin Orange Salad Recipe Version 2

Ingredients:

Salad Ingredients:
1 onion (small, Vidalia); skinned & chopped thinly into rings
1 can oranges (11 oz, mandarin); drained
3 butter lettuce (large heads); torn, rinsed & dried
6 oz of mushrooms (fresh); sliced thinly
Salt
Ground black pepper

Dressing Ingredients:
1/2 c of sour cream
1/4 c of mayonnaise
1/2-1 tsp of garlic; minced
1/2 tsp of Worcestershire sauce
1/4 c of milk
a pinch of sugar
a pinch of white pepper; ground
Cayenne pepper

Directions:

Transfer all dressing ingredients into a medium-sized bowl. Whisk altogether thoroughly. Lock it inside a sterilized glass jar, then chill.

Meanwhile, pitch salad ingredients altogether in another mixing bowl. Pour some dressing over it; then mix well. Use cling wrap to cover; then chill for a minimum of one hour.

Once ready, serve on a salad platter. Top w/ Parmesan, croutons, as well as a dash of black pepper (optional).
