Crab Salad Recipe
Ingredients:
1 c of mayonnaise
1/4 c of chili sauce
1/3 c of French dressing
2 Tbsps of chives; finely chopped
2 Tbsps of olives (green); finely chopped
1 tsp of horseradish
lettuce (chilled); cut into smaller pieces (bite size)
3 c of crabmeat; flaked (imitation crabsticks)
1 tsp of Worcestershire sauce
4 eggs (hard boiled); quartered
Capers
Salt & pepper
4 tomatoes (medium); cut into wedges
Directions:
To make the dressing, combine all ingredients in a small mixing bowl EXCEPT for the capers, tomatoes, eggs, and crabmeat. Whisk ’til smooth, and then chill.
To serve, assemble a layer of chilled iceberg lettuce in a flat or shallow salad platter. Pile the crab meat above the bed of lettuce. Pour the dressing over the crab meat and top with the tomatoes, quartered eggs; and then capers.
