Chicken Salad with Tarragon Recipe
Ingredients:
1/2 c of walnut; halved
1/2 c of sour cream
4 pcs of chicken breast fillets; skinned
1/2 c of mayonaise
1 Tbsp of tarragon; dried
1 c of heavy cream
2 celery ribs; chopped coarsely
Directions:
Warm up the oven to 350 degrees F.
Line up the breast fillets on a baking dish; and then pour heavy cream evenly over each piece. Bake the breast fillets for about 20 minutes; and then remove it from the heat.
Let it cool at room temperature. When done, slice the breast fillets into bite-size pieces. Transfer it to a larger bowl; and then set aside.
Meanwhile, combine the mayonnaise, and sour cream together in a small bowl. Whisk well ’til thoroughly mixed. Add it to the sliced chicken together with chopped celery, dried tarragon, and walnuts.
Toss it well ’til ingredients are evenly coated. Season with pepper and salt. Cover the mixture with cling wrap and chill for a minimum of four hours prior to serving.
