Classic Salad w/ Radish & Anchovies Recipe
Ingredients:
Salad Ingredients:
1 iceberg lettuce
6 oz of black pitted olives; thinly sliced
1 lettuce Romaine
2 oz of anchovies
4 oz of cheese (Feta)
1 lb of plum tomatoes
4 oz of radishes; sliced
Dressing Ingredients:
3 oz olive oil
1 tsp oregano; dried
3 oz of lime juice (fresh)
4 garlic (cloves); finely chopped
1 tsp black pepper (ground)
1 tsp salt
Directions:
Rinse the lettuce, then cut into bite-sized pieces. Cut the tomatoes into 4 parts. In a large mixing bowl, place the tomatoes, lettuce, radish, and olives altogether. Set aside.
Combine the ingredients for the dressing altogether in a small bowl; then whisk well. Pour it over the salad. Toss the mixture well ’til salad ingredients are evenly coated. Transfer it onto a flat salad platter or shallow salad bowl.
Crumble the Feta cheese and sprinkle it over the salad. Top with anchovies prior to serving.
