Broccoli Raisin Overdrive Recipe

Ingredients:

2 stalks of broccoli – choose the ones with large heads – washed and drained
1/2 cup of sun-dried raisins
1/2 cup of red onion, finely chopped
1 cup of mayonnaise
1/4 cup of refined sugar
1 tbsp of red wine vinegar
1/2 pound of bacon, fried and crushed
1/2 cup of sunflower seeds

Directions:

Cut the broccoli florets into smaller pieces, then slice the soft portions of the stalk diagonally. Place it in a large salad bowl. Add chopped red onions and sun-dried raisins, then set aside.

To prepare the salad dressing, combine mayonnaise, refined sugar, as well as red wine vinegar in a small mixing bowl. Whisk the mixture until smooth.

Pour a generous amount of dressing onto the salad. Toss it well. Garnish with bacon and sprinkle with sunflower seeds before serving.
